Total hours: 600 | AITS Hours:  600 | Full Cost:  $ 44,200 | Requested ITPC Funds:  $10,000

The purpose of this project is for the facilitation and assistance for migrating the Enterprise SharePoint Shared Service (on-premise) sites to each campus’ Office 365 SharePoint Online tenants. Each campus has purchased and maintains their own Office 365 SharePoint On-line environment. Migrating their respective On-Premise SharePoint sites to their respective Office 365 SharePoint On-line environment will provide additional functionality with the other integrated Office 365 applications.

Expected Benefits:  Eliminating cost by removing cost of hosting the SharePoint On-Premise and not gaining new cost by going to the cloud | Integration with other Office 365 applications | Ability to access SharePoint online from anywhere

ITPC-0608 Implementation of the Enterprise GitHub Service  Link to proposal

Sponsors: Nyle Bolliger, Brian Schoudel

Total hours: 1,900 | AITS Hours:  1,000 | Full Cost:  $ 108,300 | Requested ITPC Funds:  $0

This project aims to establish a shared, cloud-based GitHub service available to students, faculty, and staff at all three Universities at no cost to them. GitHub is a popular service that provides hosting for software development version control. The service is currently utilized by numerous University staff, faculty, and students. Additionally, the GitHub service (owned by Microsoft) is used by millions of users worldwide.

Expected Benefits:  Provide Enterprise GitHub version control service to all three Universities at no cost for current and new users | Allow units who are currently paying their own licenses to no longer have to pay to use the service

ITPC-0609 Analysis of Employee Dashboard, Salary Planner & Web Time Entry  Link to proposal

Sponsors: Brian Schoudel, Stephanie Dable

Total hours: 908 | AITS Hours:  908 | Full Cost:  $ 61,356 | Requested ITPC Funds:  $0

This project will assess the impact of the Banner 9 Employee Self Service applications (Employee Dashboard, Web Time Entry, and Salary Planner).  The one accordion that we will need to turn on within Employee Dashboard is the Benefits accordion as it replaces the Benefit Statement in Employee Self Service 8.x.  The remaining accordions will have analysis completed at a later date.

Expected Benefits:  Ensure we are proactive and prepared to move to the implementation phase so that we can take advantage of future enhancements | Reduce risk during implementation phase and help ensure a successful upgrade to this new architecture with minimal impact to faculty, students and staff.
