The Illinois General Assembly signed into law a program January 2019 which requires public universities to provide enrolled students and parents, with information regarding all their outstanding education loans. Expected benefits: Meet the legislative requirement | Ability for enrolled students and parents to view their level of debt | Give students an idea of how much and how long they can expect to pay back their loans

There will be crosswalks and data mapping that will be required to prepare for the migration of data. Extensive testing and data cleanup is expected throughout the data migration. It is anticipated that the data migration from Colleague will be phased into multiple, focused migrations.
AITS will also continue to assist UIC with additional post day one tasks, access provisioning to enterprise applications, potential report creations or modifications, and additional needs as part of the overall acquisition of JMLS.
Expected Benefits: Careful analysis and preparation to migrate the required data ensures accurate and complete data will be migrated and maintained |Utilizing experts from AITS will help reduce overall resource hours for this data migration due to their experience with data migrations into Banner.
